For the new look of the Bathbunny (Badkonijn), we collaborated with the children from Rotterdam North, as well as with ‘Stichting Pluspunt” (Stichting Pluspunt organizes day activity and work-study programs for Rotterdam residents with mental and other issues who need a helping hand).

From all the drawings we have received back, we selected two designs that served as the basis for our new design. Sophia’s (11 years old) drawing of musical instruments and Fabien’s submarine drawing (via Stichting Pluspunt) were two surprising designs.

A number of children from North and some participants from Stichting Pluspunt helped us paint the new design on the Badkonijn. After their help, we continued painting the Bathbunny for 2,5 weeks to finish it properly.

On April 22, the Badkonijn went back onto the water, marking the start of the new summer season:)
