Tuft je eigen Huisdier! How cool would it be to have a rug of your own pet? Now you can do this at our studio at the Coolhaven in Rotterdam!

How it works:

– You send us a photo of your pet, and we create a (paint by numbers) drawing of it and sketch it onto canvas for you.

– On the day of the tufting, you will pick the colours and fill in the colour areas with fabric. You don’t need any tufting experience for this! We will calmly explain everything to you. And after that, you can immediately start tufting!!!

– At the end of the workshop, you go home with your own pet rug!

>>De workshops worden zowel in Nederlands als in Engels gegeven.
>>Courses will be given in fluent Dutch and/or English :) and are in small groups, maximum 4/5 persons per instructor.

After your reservation we’ll send you an email back with the rest of the information about the workshop, payment and when to send the picture of your pet.

(On high demand we give limited amount of tufting workshops per month besides our regular art projects, under our professional artistic guidance with tufting design and color advice. Ideal for beginners to learn all the basics of tufting and no creative background required :) See you at our studio!)

• Per person € 139,- including all material costs with coffee / tea and snacks.
• We will prepare already the drawing of your pet on your frame/ canvas.
• You can use max. 6 colors of yarn in your pet design,
• Maximum size of your work is 50×50 cm to finish on time in the evening
  (actual size of the tufting frame is 70x70cm, but you need the space around your work to keep the tension)
• Due to the limited time of 4 hours, we don’t make too many details in your work, so you can finish your awesome petrug on time :)!

• We will prepare already the drawing of your pet on your frame/ canvas.
• Including vegetarian lunch, coffee/tea and snacks! 
• The design is more detailed and you can use all colours in 5 hours!
• Maximum size of your work is 55×55 cm

At the end of the evening and afternoon workshops, you will shave your rug with finishing touch tips and we’ll also give you detailed information about glueing with professional flexible, strong glue, how to prevent curly edges, using backing fabric and protecting your rug with aftercare, so you’ll go home with your fresh first own tufted pet rug!
