Together with help of the children from the South of Rotterdam, we could make a new design for the Seal of the South.

After 2 drawing afternoons at the Playground Hillesluis, door-to-door distribution of the coloring page and a social media call for interest, we received more than 50 colorful drawings back:)

Two submitted drawings certainly stood out and we used them as inspiration for the new design, the beautiful block design by Yagmur (7 years old) and the cheerful fruit design by Sofia (9 years old). After the painting afternoon with the children, we continued painting for another 2.5 weeks and on May 15th the official launch of the floating artwork, ‘Zeehond op Zuid’ took place.
