For the first time we were asked to make a decor installation for Christmas! We were honored by this request from the central library of Rotterdam! Theme of this year is ‘Chess’, because of the upcoming chess exhibition by M&H Expo in collaboration with the Rotterdam Chess Museum. So what was for us typical christmas with a touch of chess?

We came up with the cheerful nostalgic nutcrackers as the ultimate christmas chess characters, as symbols of good luck! We made precisely 32 pieces of little and giant nutcrackers, including a Nutcrack-King and a Nutkrack-Queen of 2 meters high!
