For this year’s design of the Badkonijn (Bathbunny) in the Vroesenpark, we decided to work together with the senior people of Rotterdam North. After 2 intensive drawing sessions at Humanitas Bergwegplantsoen, we choose the design of the 76 year old Corrie. Who did art school herself years ago.

Unfortunately on the openings day, April 11th, Corrie couldn’t join the official opening, but her daughter Josta was there to take the honors for her. Josta even went with us on the boat and climbed on the Badkonijn to reveal the artwork with us.

For us it was the first time to work together with seniors, making the drawings and paintings on the Badkonijn, but it was really fun to do:)
