This year the theme of the Kinderboekenparade (each year organized by the Kinderboekenmuseum, The Hague), was dominated by “rare snuiters’ (weird noses). From stories that show how special you are, or be the same just like everyone else.
That afternoon we gave a ‘rare snuiter volk’ masks workshop where the kids could create their own special mask. Next to the special masks workshop, we also build a huge 2-faced monster mask which would inspire the kids of building their own fantasy mask and was used as a cool photo moment with their own masks.
Long live the Rare Snuiter Volk 🎉 where everything is allowed and everyone can be themselves or someone else!
Superthanks to our super intern Nadia and Hann for the big help and everyone at the Children’s Book Museum for helping us out with the 300 kids during the day!
