Studio MAKY designed and made a gate in the shape of a butterfly for the theater area of Solar Weekend Festival in Roermond. The drawings in the butterfly referred to the different acts which played during the festival.

The wings were made of wood, carefully sawed and covered with colored fabrics. During the night, the gate had a bright stained glass-effect.

In 2016 our Butterfly installation was re-used again for the main entrance gate of the Solar Weekend Festival:)
